“Del Vacchio Landscapes & Christmas Decor hosted a Business After Hours last year in September to kick off the holiday season. We thought the community knew of our 35 years in the landscaping industry, but many don’t know benefits of holiday decorating for your home or business. Not only were we able to showcase what we do, but we had a great night of fellowship for our team and chamber members. The support from our CCCBI is amazing as many members even donated food or raffle items to complete our night. It was a great chance to showcase our history and growth while enjoying the networking power of CCCBI.”

CCCBI President Laura Manion is great at introducing people and spotting synergy between members. “Our experience as a new member of CCCBI has exceeded our expectation! Not only did the staff of CCCBI help us to quickly acclimate, they actively promoted our business to its many members in tangible ways. Cafe Gourmino had an opportunity to bring the artisan coffee shop experience to one of the chamber’s Board of Directors meetings. More recently, we took our coffee cart to fellow member Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz, as they welcomed this semester’s interns with a cup of deliciously brewed espresso drink. In short, we are very pleased being a member of CCCBI. “As a small business owner it can be difficult to work on the business when you're stuck with the day-to-day operations.  When I joined CCCBI I knew it would help get my business to the next level, but the thought of networking was enough out of my comfort zone to make me want to avoid so many events the chamber was offering.  Luckily the chamber assigned me a mentor to help guide me through the networking process and how to get the most out of these events.  They even joined me on my first event and helped me feel confident networking.  Networking led me to many catering opportunities that multiplied to many more, meeting new and interesting people within my industry to trade ideas, and allowed me to apply for grants and small business loans that would help grow my business infrastructure.  The resources the chamber provides and the people I have met during my membership also helped me fulfill a longtime dream of procuring a storefront in downtown Phoenixville.  Being a member of CCCBI has helped me accomplish many business goals in such a short amount of time.”

“After I moved from for-profit to non-profit I wasn’t sure what types of help or benefits there would be for me and my role at Handi-Crafters. “As a new member, Kamelot Productions recently had the privilege of covering the chamber's Summer Solstice event at Loch Aerie Mansion. It was an incredible experience interviewing some fascinating individuals and using our first-person view drones to capture stunning footage both indoors and out. The result? A phenomenal video that we are truly proud of. During the event, we had the pleasure of meeting the Owner of Cafe Gourmino. Impressed by his products and setup, we invited him to be a part of an upcoming event Kamelot was producing for Toll Brothers at their new apartment community, Broad + Noble, in Center City. Michael's selection of hot and iced drinks were a major hit at the event, leaving everyone talking about it! Thank you to CCCBI for providing us with the opportunity to connect with remarkable individuals like Michael and many others.
